While work obligations bring us to Milano, we have had opportunities to visit Italia on leisure and for this Travel Journal we visit Roma and Firenze with stops along the Montepuliciano region – no wine of course – but show some of the landscape. However, this album is limited considering I have no current digital photos (hard copies only) from our 2004 album.

Here’s the opening page to our Italy album – there’s a shot of us in Firenze – at the Fountain of Neptune in front of the Uffizzi Gallery on the Piazza della Signoria. Sep2004.

Waiting in the long, long queue to gain entry into the Musei Vaticani and Cappella Sistina.

Ah! We made it – not too bad of a wait, considering the queues had already snaked along the exterior walls of the museum – here we are glad to make entry, showing our admission tickets.

Unfortunately, our last (leisure) trip together to our favorite EU country was in 2004. Because I don’t accompany the hubby on his bi-yearly Milano meetings, I haven’t had the chance to return. We shall return, soon however.
