When we didn’t have the privilege of a pied-a-terre, The Carlyle was our 2nd home for a short while. We’ve hosted a few guests in town while our home remained under renovation, but for the most part, The Carlyle remains not only as a “place to stay,” but a landmark fixture of the Upper East Side.
