We were one of the luckier travelers to visit the Palace of Versailles in 2002 just before it was shut down for an astounding multi-year renovation, so we managed to take the trip to Versailles and experience the “unforgettable, putrid, urine-scent,” tour of the palace and grounds.

Our hard copy photos are plastered to an album, so this will take some time to scan and upload.
