For our first-time visit to Roma in 2004, we wanted to stay near the Villa Borghese and Gardens, so after consulting several travel ratings journals, including Andrew Harper’s Hideaway Resort et al, we finally decided on this property atop the Spanish steps but far enough from the crowds and craziness of tourists.
