It has been more than ten years since we patronized this property; it all began Spring 1996 while exploring the Cape’s inner island B&B’s.
When we frequented the Cape – mostly Summers (1996-2000) – we usually stopped into Sandwich, the town where Captain Ezra Nye House is sited, it was the “pit stop,” overnight before we ferried our way to Vineyard Haven for the Steamship Authority ride to Martha’s Vineyard.
Because of our more frequent abroad travels, we’ve focused more intently on patronizing properties farther afield, especially ones where we’ve not visited. At times, those experiences became “predictable, expected and bland,” so we’ll revisit the Cape soon and perhaps post an updated review of this B&B once that occurs.
For now, we look forward to those lazy summer days on the Cape and MV, and wish great experiences to all who visit the outer islands of MA.
