This blog was created several years ago (2005, 2006). It was a time when ‘actual logged time’ meant I had the regularity and ability to remain and share all happenings and musings of daily life through blog journals with frequency deemed worthy of calling it a blog.

Things have changed. Birth of our new family addition plus changes in career paths, far too much involved to reveal and far too personal to share. This blog is a re-focus on what it’s original intention sought: to bring travel and wanderlust as a resource or reference and any other useful intent to my readers.

More importantly, all listed properties, resorts and hotels in this blog were visited and patronized (some more often than others) in recent years; some with detailed descriptions and reviews. Some still awaiting a long queue of logged photos waiting to be categorized and added. My apologies for the delay.

Maggiesmusings.com ’round the globe is a blog-work-in-progress.

ABOUT THIS BLOG
So the ubiquitous “blog” needs some cache or buzz to stand out as most marketing groups would advise, but this site will mainly be used as a resource – for information – for property reviews, not as a traditional (b)log of sorts. So that said, it will hardly be a blog, but one of journal keeping, serving the needs of family and friends who ask repeatedly about the properties we’ve been lucky enough to visit. This site is mainly for them or anyone interested in a bird’s eye view of the locations, world heritage sites of UNESCO and the global exploration we hope to continue to explore and patronize, despite the occasional journal entry of daily life – musings and bemusings – it remains an omnipresence of life beyond my daily musings.

I should note however, that without WordPress I would not have attempted to try to create a blog when pages and pages of code must be installed, but with the help of WordPress my very first blog http://www.maggiesmusings.wordpress.com was created which became the springboard for launching a primary not secondary site.

There are very few if any photos of our family and friends, frankly because they guard their privacy a lot more than we – sad to say – I agree, but maggiesmusings.com wouldn’t have a premise if I didn’t include ourselves in a few entries. That said, there will be limited postings of our first and second degree family and friends, unless of course, they’ve been pre-approved for public posting.
