Spring has, indeed Sprung after a few – misleading – false starts, one in March another in April. I think the budding of these trees on south elevation of the property seem to be making better progress. We actually had an ice storm in early April that killed all the new buddings.

Here’s Manfred from Petre Mirror & Glass, Bedford Hills installing the 2nd of two museum mirrors high up there on their – rather shaky – scaffolding. They tried to reassure me that it was stable. So, I wonder why I kept hearing metal squeaking as if it was going to fall apart in no time. What, with each weighing over 85+ pounds each, should I not worry? Overall, we believe the neglected space on the 2nd floor required additional light and the best interior design solution is to add, what else, reflective mirrors. Wouldn’t you agree?
